The Career and Technical Education program (CTE) allows students to learn the technical applications of different occupations while preparing for either higher education or entering the workforce.

Fairfax has a team for every athlete in every season.

There’s cheerleading, cross country, dance, field hockey, football, golf, volleyball in the fall. As winter approaches and temperatures drop they move on to indoor sports like basketball, gymnastics, track & field, swim & dive, and wrestling. By the time spring rolls around students are back outside trying out for baseball, crew, lacrosse, soccer, softball, tennis, and track & field. [/su_icon_text]

If you’re relocating from another part of the country you may be surprised to learn that schools in Fairfax County begin the last week of August and end in either the second or third week of June.

Fairfax operates on a block schedule where students alternate classes depending on the day of the week. Block periods are roughly twice as long as traditional classes usually around 90 minutes. Here’s an example of what your high schooler can expect on a day to day basis. [/su_icon_text]

[su_homepage_testimonial author="A Happy Client"]I’ve only shopped for property three times, but Abraham provided a substantially better experience than my previous two agents (even though they all worked for the same brokerage). He knows what he is doing, he is service oriented, he is friendly, and he gets things done. I can tell you that you probably have no idea how awesome a real estate agent can be unless you’ve bought or sold through Abraham. As long as he is around and I’m buying or selling, Abraham will be my agent from here on out.[/su_homepage_testimonial]
